Referral network management technology strategies and best practices
Event Information
The healthcare industry is shifting from horizontally- and vertically-integrated health systems to clinically-integrated networks that span multiple markets, care settings and EHRs. To coordinate care across fragmented IT ecosystems, help keep patients in-network and promote more operational efficiencies, organizations need data visibility and EHR-agnostic enablement tools. Data visibility and EHR-agnostic tools can help executives, providers and staff navigate where leakage is occurring, which providers are in-network, accepted insurances and more. In this Cerner-led focus group, participants will explore recent findings from CHIME’s “Referral network management technology perceptions” survey and partake in an interactive discussion around technology enablement strategies to support high-performing referral networks across complex, multi-EHR environments. Planned topics of conversation include: baseline performance measurement, provider directory centralization, patient-provider matching, workflow and process standardization, integration and performance monitoring.
